Does not warn you before you sell your…

Does not warn you before you sell your ticket and if you want to cancel, they make you pay (at least) the full amount of the ticket (even if you tell them directly after the sell) !!
If you don't want to lose your money, stay away

Terrible company. Do not buy from Stubhub.

The fact they have no complaints department says everything you need to know about them. They don't care. I spent an hour and a half on the phone with them trying to get my tickets purchased over three months ago. Missed the beginning of the concert and had to buy new tickets from a seller outside the gates. Three of the four calls were dropped by the customer 'service' people. This is the first, and will be the only, time I have used Stubhub. I only gave them one star as there isn't an option to give them none!

Awful service, scam website, staff unaware of what StubHub is

Awful service, 7 useless script readers, no managers or supervisors 5 hrs of shocking stupidity crossed and misinformation - 3 disconnected calls and 1 guy finally at the fifth hour who knows what to do and what the fees are. I can’t even imagine how the one guy gets through the day.

I wish I had gotten his name - I’d rather give him the tickets than use this business ever again.

Broadway ticket buyers BEWARE

Broadway ticket buyers BEWARE! The box office and Seat Geek will exchange your tickets if the lead role or cast members aren’t in shows due to COVID. Stub hub has no policy for this. We paid $1900 for 3 seats for Funny Girl, all 8 members of the cast were understudies so people dumped tickets for $50/each so we could not resell them and get our money back. Meantime we had back row rear Mezzanine seats for $1900 when we really only wanted to go see Lea Michelle.

A Sinking Ship and Corrupt Company

What is going on with this company??? They used to be great now they are just another corrupt industry posing as a ticket broker. I purchased four tickets on 8/25/22 to a football game for 9/17/22. The tickets said they would arrive on 9/16, today. They never have arrived and now all Stub Hub can offer me is a refund. They did offer me a coupon with some additional $ to purchase new tickets, but the cost of the new tickets the day before the game, has greatly exceeded my budget. It’s obvious the seller only pretended to deliver the tickets and then sold them to the next highest bidder. Does Stub Hub not see this or are they IN on it? What a joke. I was going to treat my elderly parents to a nice outing and now I must disappoint them. I will never use this company again and will be filing a complaint to the Better Business Bureau as well. This company can go straight the HELL!

NEVER AGAIN!

We ordered tickets through Subhub about 4 days before the event. When we did not receive the email saying tickets were ready, we called SubHub. They said to wait a day. When we still did not receive, StubHub said to continue waiting and gave us some links to try and track where they were. They also said that the longer the wait to receive, the less likely it would be that we would receive them. When we still did not have the day before SH said to wait until 10:00 the day of the event. Still no tickets. Called again. They said to continue to wait, but they would refund if we didn't receive. We decided to buy tickets through the venue where the event was going to be. We called SH for our refund and they told us we had to go through a number of steps to track the tickets before a refund could be awarded. We said "WE ALREADY DID ALL THAT!" We spent hours and hours of waiting and jumping through hoops. Tickets never did come. NEVER AGAIN!!!

I would give stubhub 0 stars or -1000…

I would give stubhub 0 stars or -1000 stars if I could. They are in the business of ripping people off. We purchased Cardinals tickets and they pulled the ole “switcheroo”. Was moved up 24 rows from the tickets we were assigned and purchased the night before, without any notification whatsoever. It is almost impossible to find a customer service phone number. Spent 2 hours the next day working on this and there was NO APOLOGY and NO Restitution. It was all because they were able to sell 4 seats together that we got bounced. We saw the people that got our seats. They were trying to move us to the outfield after I spoke with the customer service agent. Mysteriously the seating chart wasn’t working. I then asked firmly that we got seats in the same section that we originally were assigned and finally got them. They were still 2 rows back which we couldn’t figure out why they would try to move us back 24 rows when seats were available 2 rows back. Except it’s a RIPOFF and I’m going to shout it from the rooftops. My advice use the MLB app. Stub hub are crooks now and I can’t believe the Cardinal’s Organization does business with them!!

Horrid Customer Service! Unreliable platform.

My Stubhub issues continue, The ONLY way to reach someone beyond their horrid call center is by posting here. The last time I did, someone pleasant and helpful promised resolution. But it never came. I continue to have listings that won't map to the event, or vanish after being mapped. There is a problem with my account for a year now and because it's nearly impossible to get a call back or resolution in time, I'm literally throwing away event tickets at great cost. Stubhub has NO real customer service.

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. I sold tickets for the first time on there. Never received my money. Stub hub keeps sayings I’ll get my money in 13 days, then it was two days, then 1 day. They are thieves and will never use them again for anything!

Awful, do not ever deal with them

Only giving 1 star because 0 isn’t an option. Sold 2 tickets and still have not received payment for them. Called customer service 2 days ago, the agent told me I’d have the money by the end of the day. No payment came. Yesterday, called back, was told again that I’d have it by the end of the day. No payment came. Called today, customer service rep hung up on me when I asked for a supervisor. Called back, second agent had me on hold for over 20 minutes, then came back and said a supervisor would call me back within an hour. 3 hours go by, no call. I called back again, spoke with another agent who laughed at me when I told her I needed to speak to a supervisor. Finally get in touch with a supervisor, he tells me they’ve processed the payment, but there is still no payment in my account. I asked to speak to his manager to see what can be done about multiple agents lying to me, hanging up on me, etc, and he says he can’t escalate me to his manager, but he can have his manager call me back within THREE BUSINESS DAYS! 10 business days after the event date for the tickets I sold, I still don’t have the payment and have zero resolution!

Is stubhug legit?

A:

They are perfectly legit. Great place to buy tickets someone else is looking for a buyer for. I found tickets on stub, bought them, and the next day they called me and said they had been double sold. Stubhub gave me tickets that were worth $300 more than the ones I got shafted out of and got me seats next to the stage for my teen daughters first concert! Cant beat that! My kids will never forget it, completely PRICELESS! AS far as selling your tickets here I have heard that they take a percentage, but its a great place to sell them unless you can find a buyer yourself. Good luck!

I have a problem with Stubhub. If a show is moved, date changed you have no rights. You are dealing on a secondary market. The "gaurantee" states a refund is in order in. Certain cases, NOT true.

A:

Don't worry, you will get tickets. It can be absurd how much they charge for Shipping, yet only get you tix just before.

You'll get your tickets don't worry about it. I've been a customer since 2004 and have never had a problem with them. That date you received is just the latest date you can expect your tickets and most times they are delivered long before then

Do they send the tickets?

A:

Stub Hub allowed a seller to sell me a black and white copy of a PDF ticket! I notified them and they told me my tickets are valid. They are a duplicate black and white copy of the original. There are now at least two tickets available to my seats. Selling me a duplicate ticket knowing the seller still retains the original is FRAUD. They would not resolve the issue. I have to hope the other holder of the same ticket does not get to the venue before me. STUBHUB does not care about its customers

They sent the tickets but when we got to the venue, it was switched to another day, which we had no way of knowing. Will never use stub hub again. If we had used ticketmaster they would have emailed us the change

I ordered tickets to a concert and received a visa card in the mail. I am concerned. Is this normal?

A:

I agree with kire j about stub hub - my experience was terrible. I was not sent a visa card. I would check like Michele w bedore you get too worried. Better still phone the visa card company - I cant see how you can get a visa without applying and them sharing your personal details. Best use ticket master or some other reputable company in the future. I tried stub hub just to do something different - I wont in the future"! Hope you sort it out

They likely could not secure tickets for you so they refunded your money rather than sending tickets. I would check the Visa card balance and see if it matches your purchase price.

Is it legal for resellers to sell you tickets that they don't have or already own? It seems like a scam. They charge your credit card well in advance of making the tickets available to you. This shouldn't be legal!

It is better to make your purchase and experience things on your own. Right now they have discounts going on. Chat in with them and have them add you to their fan rewards program before making your purchase. I'm glad I did! :)

They sell tickets they do not actually have yet. They started selling tickets for a Garth Brooks concert in Salt Lake City before tickets even went on sale. They have no way of knowing if they will actually get tickets to fulfill orders, and just cancel the order the day before the event if they don't have the tickets. Its pretty much a gamble with Stub Hub if you will get your tickets or not.
